Very small, independent restaurant exclusively serving vegan food. I had read reviews sayibg food is cooked fresh to order so takes a while. I deliberately arrived earlier than I intended to eat - I think the wat was around 30 minutes. I got pumpkin soup and quince tagine. I saw one of the staff members going out to market to buy ingredients for the food that was ordered. I really love that everything was fresh even if it meant it took more time. I would have liked some extra salt on the soup, and the quince (something I had never tried before) definitely wasn't my favourite but I really enjoyed trying clean, healthy, Moroccan food. It was good value, less than 100dirhams (£8) for soup, tagine, bread...

Wonderful little family run restaurant that serves THE BEST tagine. After numerous trips around Morocco (and being vegan) I’d consider myself something of a veggie tagine connoisseur - Shyadma’s lentil and vegetable tagine has just entered the top spot as the best I’ve ever eaten. Tender perfectly cooked veg delicately seasoned with plenty of cumin and coriander slightly charred at the bottom of the pot for that smoky flavour. Delicious. The royal tea is great too. As other reviewers mention the food takes time as everything is made to order (including ingredients being quickly purchased from nearby stalls!) but it’s worth the wait for food clearly made with love and care and the freshest...

Small place with a big heart. We have tried a lot of places in Essaouria but this one is our favorite. Fresh ingredients, tasty food. The guy who was serving us run to the shop to get some fresh herbs which they were missing ( we came very late approx, 40min before closing) and then again to get the kitchen foil to wrap our spring rolls, because we wanted them to go.Great service, humble, amazing people. We enjoyed every minute there. We tried pumpkin tajine, falafel, avocado salad, spring rolls, mango and orange juice and virgin mojito. All...

Amazing VEGAN food in the heart of Essaouira!! Made fresh when ordered. Large menu. Super nice young man and a sweet lady that cooked for us. Indoor and outdoor seating. We had the lentil soup (2 bowls), one order of falafel-6 pieces with a small salad, two vegetable pastilla (THEY ARE LARGE!) which came with an avocado, cucumber & banana salad along with a 1L of sparking water all for 120MAD!! 12€ is simply amazing. This meal in California USA would be over $30USD! Definitely go there. Vegan or not, you will love it!

This place is such a gem! Seems to be run by a family with fresh produce daily! The prices are amazing and you get a good amount of food for it. Most importantly it tastes delicious! My favorite was the chickpea, prune, almond Tajine - simply to die for! The juices were also so great. Sometimes you do have to wait a while for the food, but that's because it's being made from scratch so it's definitely worth the wait. They even had soy milk for coffee, first place in Morocco we saw that! Highly recommend!
