Carré Bleu — Restaurant in Essaouira

Really had the best time of morocco here with my friends. While strolling over the bazar we stumbled into this restaurant by coincidence and coulndt be more happy about it. After we went there on our first day we also tried a couple of other Restaurants but quickly came to the conclusion that none of them could come even close to the amazing service and food we've experienced at Carré Bleu. From the kindest waiters to the wonderful food, my friends and I spent wonderful evenings in the heart of Essaouira and yet so peacefully calm. This was a great place to eat. We found it on our first day and saved it fornour last as we wanted to finish with a good experience. Staff is kind and always with a smile. Food was superb. On the first day I had stuffed sardines. I am frok Portugal with a nig sardine tradition and i can say they were cooked to perfection with incredible flavours. Drinks were free as a welcoming gift. Last day I went for the grilled calamari and again it was delicious. Service was quick, but waiter still was apologetic as he thought it wasnt quick enough. They were so kind. DO NOT GO HERE. We were pressured to go here by the tour guide who was supposed to be included in our tour. Tour guide charged us separately and the restaurant is a scam. We ordered four plates to share, they brought out the four dishes for each of us so that’s twenty dishes even though we confirmed in Arabic and English of what we wanted.
