Cafe Restaurant The LOST — Restaurant in Fez

DO NOT EAT HERE.

We arrived and asked for takeaway, 45 minutes later our food arrived to eat in. We ordered a vegetarian pizza and it arrived with ham (pork) on it, we were then told it wasn’t meat it was mushroom, then that it was hibiscus, then that it was carrot, and finally beef before they accepted to replace the pizza which took a further 30 minutes. (To note, there may have been communication problems as we speak English, but we asked in French and used Google translate to Arabic to communicate still being told the pizza had no meat despite the meat on the pizza)

We also ordered a beef lasagne, and received a fish lasagne (more expensive and were charged the difference). When I said I was not happy the waiter sarcastically asked ‘what do you want, take away 5 dirham?’

Exceptionally disappointing, the 3 servers we dealt with all acted like they understood what the problems were but provided excuses and took no blame. Instead saying they had problems in the kitchen, and offering no recourse.

This is the first time I feel angered enough to post a bad review for a restaurant. Possibly the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant, let alone one rated 4 stars.

I urge the manager to reach out and explain why our experience was so awful.

وصلنا وطلبنا الوجبات الجاهزة ، وبعد 45 دقيقة وصل طعامنا لتناول الطعام. لقد طلبنا بيتزا نباتية ووصلت مع لحم الخنزير (لحم الخنزير) عليها ، ثم قيل لنا إنها ليست لحومًا ، إنها فطر ، ثم أنها كانت كذلك. الكركديه ، ثم كان جزرًا ، وأخيراً لحم بقر قبل أن يقبلوا استبدال البيتزا التي استغرقت 30 دقيقة أخرى. مخيب للآمال بشكل استثنائي ، لقد تصرفت الخوادم الثلاثة التي تعاملنا معها جميعًا كما لو أنهم فهموا ما هي المشاكل ولكنهم قدموا أعذارًا ولم يتحملوا أي لوم. بدلاً من ذلك ، يقولون إنهم واجهوا مشاكل في المطبخ ، ولا يقدمون أي سبيل للانتصاف.

هذه هي المرة الأولى التي أشعر فيها بالغضب بما يكفي لنشر مراجعة سيئة لمطعم. ربما تكون أسوأ تجربة مررت بها في أحد المطاعم ، ناهيك عن تصنيف 4 نجوم.

Nous sommes arrivés et avons demandé des plats à emporter, 45 minutes plus tard, notre nourriture est arrivée à manger. Nous avons commandé une pizza végétarienne et elle est arrivée avec du jambon (porc) dessus, on nous a alors dit que ce n'était pas de la viande, c'était des champignons, puis que c'était hibiscus, puis qu'il s'agissait de carottes, et enfin de bœuf avant d'accepter de remplacer la pizza qui prenait encore 30 minutes. (À noter, il y a peut-être eu des problèmes de communication car nous parlons anglais, mais nous avons demandé en français et utilisé Google Translate en arabe pour communiquer tout en nous disant que la pizza n'avait pas de viande malgré la viande sur la pizza)

Nous avons également commandé une lasagne au bœuf et reçu une lasagne au poisson (plus chère et facturée la différence). Quand j'ai dit que je n'étais pas content, le serveur a demandé sarcastiquement "que voulez-vous, enlevez 5 dirhams?"

Exceptionnellement décevants, les 3 serveurs avec qui nous avons eu affaire ont tous agi comme s'ils comprenaient quels étaient les problèmes, mais ont fourni des excuses et n'ont pris aucun blâme. Au lieu de dire qu'ils avaient des problèmes dans la cuisine et n'offraient aucun recours.

C'est la première fois que je me sens assez en colère pour poster une mauvaise critique sur un restaurant. Peut-être la pire expérience que j'ai jamais eue dans un restaurant, sans parler d'un classé 4 étoiles.
