Professional and welcoming staff. Very accommodating too; I didn’t have cash (no credit cards accepted) and the hostess suggested I order and come back so food would be ready - when I returned it was ready rather quick. I ordered the Harissa and a vegetarian Tagine. The soup was good and the same flavor as in other Rabat restaurants. The difference: it was served without any sides (like hard boiled egg, dates, and other sweet additions) still it was good. Nothing beats homemade tagine; so this one didn’t have a chance either. The best flavors from this tagine was the few stewed/sautéed lemon rinds that added a nice citrus flavor to the rest the potatoes, peas, green beans, zucchini, red peppers. A delicious meal in a beautiful and tranquil setting! The fish tagine was to die for, and the kids appreciated chicken schnitzel and pasta options for a change. Open late and very spacious, we showed up without a reservation and had no problem getting a table. Very reasonable pricing too, and a gracious host who told us all about the history of the riad.
