Terrible experience at this restaurant. I do not recommend eating here. This place is a bait-and-switch (at least when it comes to seafood). I ordered the 55 MAD seafood dish and asked the waiter about what it had. He told me it had sole, marlin, and squid. I thought it was a good deal so I ordered one for dining in and another for takeaway. The waiter serves the food and I'm surprised it has no squid. I ask about that and he nonchalantly says they ran out of it, and he claimed they added a few extra (measly) soles in there as a replacement. He did not even tell me about this until I asked him. Not to mention that, unlike what they served me, the takeaway had no fries! When I told the waiter I was mainly here for the squid and that he didn't tell me until it was too late he said "come tomorrow." No I won't. I will never order here again. Besides, the dish was not worth the price considering the amount. The taste was a 3/10 at best. No generosity and no transparency. I'd rather starve than eat here. Avoid this place...
Read moreI am from Pakistan and currently living in Morocco. 🇲🇦 It’s been more than 5 months since I arrived in Rabat, and I have tried almost all the nearby restaurants. However, Taghazout restaurant stands out as the best in my experience. Every time I've tried another restaurant, I regretted it. My favorite dish is their chicken 1/4 combo because it comes with salad and vegetables at a very reasonable price of 35 dirhams. Additionally, I've never experienced food poisoning from their food. The staff is also very friendly and cooperative.

Read moreLocals eat here. If you want to avoid tourist traps but still want a seated lunch in the heart of Rabat medina, do come here. Don’t expect anything fancy, it’s decent food at a fraction of what you’d pay for the same thing in a so called “traditional Moroccan restaurant “ where you pay for folklore. I had meat cous cous that could keep me going for a whole day, salad, water and kefir for 40 dirhams. That’s less...
