Average quality, and less food -literately food is just samples! Typical "tourists trap" type of place, spotted by only trying Moroccan food for a short period only. I ordered meat with prunes tajine, I got 1 piece of meat ! Seriously? even the sauce quality wasn't the best. The good thing is that the atmosphere is okay, the vibe is fine and it won't be a bad idea to go for tea or so, maybe if you are not hungry enough. Oh, and it is a bit pricey, actually expensive for the amount of the food, 20% above average prices, but comparing the amount, it would be 50% if not double the price for the amount of food. The location is good, that is one of the few...

well. the food was great, though why would anyone stick on a plate: rice, french fries and then give you also some bread, I have no idea. Still we were positively surprised by the taste of everything and the juiciness of chicken in particular since its dryness followed us around in Marroco. The only thing is the astonishingly unhurried approach of the waiters to... well, everything and the size of the tables outside - a party of three or more should sit there only for drinks or appetizers - anything more is a test in logistic thinking. Great place for meals in Rabat, we went there twice as it was so convenient. At least one of the waiters speaks good english and Spanish. The food was very good, save from one plate of ketfas that were quit cold. It’s built inside the city walls. It has some tables on the street, but there’s also a quite cozy patio. It’s a good option for westerners who aren’t too thrilled to eat at food stands in the medina, and it’s super cheap! around 15€ pp for a full meal and tea& dessert.

The cafe is in the heart of the medina of Rabat. So if after a walk in the old medina and loudaya you wanted a cup of tea or coffee to regain your energy the coffee is the right place. The staff is nice. They serve good harira and food but you can also bring pastry or sandwich from outside and just order drinks. The decorations is very nice the fountain in the middle and the complete experience of a Moroccan salon in the 1st floor
