تجربتي في هذا الكافيه كانت مخيبة للآمال بكل معنى الكلمة. دخلت فقط لطلب بعض المخبوزات اللذيذة، وفوجئت بأنني “مجبَر” على طلب مشروب معها! هذا الأمر غير منطقي على الإطلاق، خاصةً أننا في عام 2025، ومن المفترض أن تُحترم حرية الزبون في اختيار ما يريد تناوله دون فرض شروط تعجيزية. الأمر الأكثر إزعاجًا هو أن القائمة مكتوبة فقط باللغة الفرنسية، دون أي ترجمة للغة العربية أو حتى الإنجليزية، وكأن الزبائن من ثقافات أو لغات مختلفة غير مرحب بهم. صحيح أن الطاقم كان لطيفًا والطعام لذيذ، لكن سياسة المحل تعكس عقلية قديمة وغير مرحب بها في عالم اليوم. إجبار الزبائن على استهلاك أكثر مما يرغبون فيه يفقد المكان احترامه. للأسف، هذه التجربة كانت سلبية جدًا ولن أكررها، ولن أوصي بهذا المكان لأي شخص.

My experience at this café was extremely disappointing. I walked in simply to order some delicious pastries, only to be forced to also buy a drink. This kind of policy is absurd — especially in 2025, where customers should be respected and free to choose what they want without being pressured into buying more. What made things worse is that the menu is available only in French. There’s no translation to Arabic or even English, making it feel as if customers who don’t speak French are not welcome. While I must admit that the food was tasty and the staff was polite, the café’s policy is outdated, unprofessional, and completely ruins the customer experience. Forcing people to consume more than they want is not how modern hospitality works. Unfortunately, this was a very negative experience for me, and I won’t be coming back. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

Mon expérience dans ce café a été très décevante. Je suis entré simplement pour commander quelques viennoiseries, et j’ai été obligé de prendre une boisson également ! Ce genre de politique est inacceptable, surtout en 2025. Les clients devraient être libres de choisir ce qu’ils souhaitent consommer, sans aucune pression. Ce qui rend l’expérience encore plus frustrante, c’est que le menu est uniquement en français. Il n’y a aucune traduction en arabe ni même en anglais, ce qui donne l’impression que les clients ne parlant pas français ne sont pas les bienvenus. Certes, les produits sont bons et le personnel est aimable, mais la politique du café est dépassée et irrespectueuse. I ordered a millefuelle (amazing) and my friend wanted to order for us ‘chocolate au lait’ but the waitress understood a milkshake and she brought two milkshakes, when I told her that we wanted chocolate au lait and that I don’t drink cold milk she looked at me in a bad way and said ‘I can’t take it back because none else will drink it’.. and left. I called her again to order something else and she came and said that I still have to pay for the milkshake.
