有家餐厅YouJia Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

As a Moroccan living in China, I was really craving authentic Chinese food during my visit to Marrakech — and I’m so glad I found this place on Google!

I ordered Gongbao Jiding (Kung Pao Chicken), beef with pepper, and eggplant. Everything was delicious and tasted just like in China. I even asked them to prepare the dishes using Chinese spice levels, and they did it perfectly.

The chef is from Jiangsu province, and you can really feel the authenticity in the cooking. The flavors brought me right back to China.

The owner — a very friendly lady — was also kind enough to chat with me about her story and how she ended up living in Morocco. It was such a warm and personal experience.

I was soooo surprised there is authentic chinese restaurant in Marrakesh!!! I was travelling with my mom from Liverpool to here for the holiday, when we are tired with Morocco tajine food, we are definitely missed some tasty Asian food, and I found this probable Chinese restaurant, even as picky as my mom she was very happy with their food, tasty but not salty. Very disappointed with the service at this establishment. Made and confirmed a reservation for a family meal for 4 a full 24 hours earlier but when we arrived (on time) we were denied entry because they had subsequently taken a block booking for a group of Asians for the whole restaurant. They could not explain why we could not come in when it was clear not all the tables were in use nor did they offer any sort of recompense in the form of a voucher or the like for cancelling our booking without notice!
