L' Escapade Marrakech — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

A lovely place, with a beautiful interior design. But, let's talk about food 😊. I am a regular customer. I always order two things, first an Americano second is "Assortiment de nems" theses two menus I give 8 /10 the best , the coffee's quality is super good and the nems are made with love I can sense it. I've tried it before in other places but their's quality was so low. Yesterday I decided to have "pizza pêcheur" on lunch, first thing the service was low too, secondly the pizza quality was 0/10 yes don't be shocked🙂 the dough was so so hard and filled so much with semolina it wasn't tasty at all. Thirdly, they wrote in the menu in the included ingredients that the pizza will contain: shrimps, calamar, tamato sauce and cheese BUT the pizza didn't have any of calamar instead they put Sepia The cheaper one. Then I ordered mint tea in one 1 minute I got it, so here is another suprise the tea was over boiled with no taste of mint, I assumed it was already boiled and they just poured in the jug. Great menus but not a fan of the taste. Most Moroccan foods lack salt or is it me? Anyway back to this restaurant, I ordered kofta tagine and when it was presented there was atleast 15ml of tagine sauce and tiny ball size kofta kebabs floating in the bland tomatoe sauce. And to serve with was rock hard bread. All in all, poor tasting quality tagine, my partner brought a tuna panini and he also stated that the tuna panini was poor, less tuna and no cheese melted in. The best thing I can say was the pancake with nutella, pancake was delicate, silky and soft, with a hint of orange zest and nutella drizzle. I went to this restaurant Café in the morning and sat myself. What a beautiful view and atmosphere with cosy music. I just felt that I was relaxed. The waiters were really friendly and nice as they provided me with the menu. I took a breakfast express since I didn't feel that hungry. It was good but I didn't like that the bread was cold which explains the 2 stars. They could have at least heated it up. The butter was also very cold and stiff, so it didn't want to spread on the bread. The person who was with me had a continental breakfast.

There were some acrobats who did a show for us. It was really nice to see them do that...
