Foodies Meknes — Restaurant in Meknes

I was looking to eat some American food and came upon this place online with its glowing reviews. The service was very friendly and hospitable. The fries were ok. Now, the chicken tenders. I don't know what they were doing back there. I see these tenders, and they are INCREDIBLY thin. Not only that, but the outside batter was not cooked properly for some of the tenders. So, it was no surprise when I bit into the chicken only to find it dry. And the sauces. The only sauces that were palatable were the "Buffalo" (closer to a Harissa which I enjoyed), and the ketchup, which I am sure they do not make in the restaurant. If you go, do not try the chicken. Please. Stick to the burgers and bowls...

Underwhelming, disappointing. I bought the chicken wings offer, I chose garlic parmesan sauce, hot buffalo sauce and teriyaki sauce as condiments. The wings were over fried, with a black shade, the garlic parmesan is straight up Toumia sauce, the hot buffalo sauce is that hot sauce that we usually find at chicken stores (extremely salty, not a single drop of butter), the teriyaki sauce had Sriracha so it tasted a bit weird. I’ve been a loyal customer of Foodie for nearly five years now, and I can confidently say I’m one of their biggest fans! Living in the USA, I constantly crave their food, which has such a unique and authentic flavor that’s impossible to find here. The quality and variety are exceptional, and every meal feels like a little taste of home.
