Col'Cacchio The Grove — Restaurant in Khomas

In November 2023, we visited this location based on Google reviews. I want to provide my review to help those that intend to visit. Let’s start by talking about the atmosphere of Col’Cacchio.

This is definitely a family oriented establishment, with a beautiful play area for children. The restaurant has seating for large groups, as well as seating for a couple looking to enjoy a meal.

The menu has a nice selection of pizza & pasta type dishes. The restaurant has a good selection of alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks.

We found the pasta dishes that were ordered were good. The problems with this restaurant is there was no follow-up from wait staff or the on duty floor manager(s).

Wait staff was finally flagged downed to bring us the bill. We asked to pay by Tap (without swiping our “credit”card.) The wait staff did not know how to set the wireless tap for use with a “credit” card.

The wireless card machine would not work for our “credit” card because it was set for use with a card that required a pin.

In conclusion this restaurant has the potential to be a 5 star Google review if the wait staff & floor manager(s) improves their...

As an Italian, I have to say, the name itself got my attention. "Col Cacchio" is an Italian slang for "do not expect me to do what you just told me to do", kind of....the funny thing is that it´s a common expression in my region, Umbria, so being so far away from my homeland, finding a place with such a specific name, made my day.

Their menu is very delicious, with a lot of options to choose from, and the meals get very close to the Italiand standard. I had my classical "pizza 4 formaggi" four cheeses, and it was great.

Location is amazing, with a terrace that offers an incredible view over the surrounding mountains, very clean, service friendly, fast, efficient and very professional, prices were honest.

If you are in town give Col´Cacchio a try, you won't regret...

Great food and atmosphere but I was quiet disappointed by the service. Me and my friends set down and a waitress came to us and started taking our orders , she actually took my drink order and just said I will come now. She left us and went to take clients from the door and she served them while we where seated and waiting for her although she never came back. This was really unacceptable and that’s not how clients should be treated really. If I come first I expect to be helped first. We got assisted from someone else but thst person was also very slow and she was disappearing all the time ! To be honest your food is nice but your...
