O Portuga Restaurant — Restaurant in Khomas

My day was ruined. On a Mothers' day our intuition unfortunately lead us to this mistake. Firstly, waited for an hour! A whole hour before even being considered to be served and even then the manager had to persuade us to stay after we were up and ready to leave for better flavours and most importantly better customer service, on thing i can praise is the personal apology the manager gave us, with 2 free drinks on the house unfortunately, it did poorly in relieving us from the oily and salty meat. This restaurant used to be great, if you asked me 5 years ago, i would praise it, however as from my recent experience, i am not too...

The food is not the best here. I am half Portuguese and half Angolan.. lived my whole life in Lisbon and I don't recognize any flavour on the food. The food served at this restaurant is often dry, overcooked and tasteless... I invited a Spanish friend to diner yesterday and we could not be more dissapointed :/ They show us a display of fresh fishes to choose from and serve us an not so fresh one mostly burned and again with no pleasant flavour at all.

A real Portuguese chef could do much for this place. I don't recommend it as it is now. BIG WASTE OF TIME FOR THE ONES LOOKING FOR...

The restaurant was nice, but quite empty. The waitress was very good and nice as well. Unfortunately we were seated next to 3 men and soon it was 5 men who were unnecessarily loud. Laughing and having video calls on the phone, up and down, in and out of the restaurant. Probably okay in a full bar, not okay in an empty restaurant, when you want to enjoy a dinner. Also rather sad to say, that there was no manager was there, or he/she didnt have the courtesy to ask them to pipe down, to the other people had to suffer. So won’t...
