Update: After visiting Olivia’s for the past three years, I have seen a decline in the quality of service. Wait times have become significantly longer — in part due to poor prioritizing and efficiency in the kitchen. I will often see 4-5 employees standing around in the back while one person is responsible for making every espresso drink and smoothie. This is not efficient. While the ambiance and location of Olivia’s is still fantastic, I no longer care to frequent the restaurant aside from picking up baked goods from The Prop & Pan. Also, some of the staff have changed over and it’s just not the same friendly and welcoming environment it used to be.

Olivia's has easily become one of our favorite spots in Windhoek. The wonderful atmosphere for breakfast, lunch and coffee beneath the bell tower is incredibly inviting. The open-air design allows our children to play outside around the fountain while we wait for our food. The entire staff is very friendly (Bianca, Kim, Ashlyn, Nadia, Uno and others), and Olivia's provides a warm environment that is found in very few restaurants around Namibia. The food and coffee are delicious. Affordable wraps and desserts for takeaway. Wonderful breakfast smoothies. And gluten free options on the menu...

Would’ve loved to try out the food as the menu online looked great, however, my family and I were simply not allowed in. We probably should’ve heard alarms bells ringing when our hotel across the way recommended every establishment in close proximity except this one. Ignoring the hotel’s suggestion, we tried to get a table and were simply met with 3 waiters looking us up and down as if we offended their beloved eyes; with 1 feeling so strongly about our presence that he resorted to picking his nose and eating whatever came out of it at the mere sight of us. Now, we’re no oil paintings but surely patrons trying to dine at your restaurant cannot be the worst thing ever! My mum did approach the ‘manager’ to explain what just happened, however, he simply turned his back and walked away which left a waitress nearby trying to save the situation but it was far too gone. After weeks of travelling around Namibia, this has easily been the worst service we have come across in the country and possibly globally. Thank you for putting a damper on our last night in your...

Olivia's kitchen is at the prime Location and very peaceful. On a quiet busy day this what happen although this is based on a 1 day vist and I think it was quite busy or maybe always like that. The waiters looks tired and they lack enthusiasm. You would wait for your waiters to attend or to direct you a table for about 15 minutes 😉 but when they do they fast to disappear again. After the longest a waiter will attend to you and still bring wrong order. I must comment on their food, yummy they are worth the wait. Very appealing and delicious 😋. While my partner couldn't get enough of their delicious food yet again no waiters to attend to us once more. The place is spotless clean and well organised apart from that 😔. The environment is peaceful and somewhere to go with your family after church lunch 😊. Cocktails lovers, They don't have Cocktails on their menu. I would recommend and say good place but just a little bit...

My recent brunch at Olivia's Kitchen was seriously impressive! As soon as we stepped inside, we couldn't help but love the modern, trendy atmosphere the place had going on. The slick décor and the lively atmosphere really set the scene for an awesome meal. Their menu boasts an array of options that cater to all tastes. Whether you're craving classic English-style breakfast or something a bit more different, they've got it all covered. The food was not only beautifully presented but also incredibly tasty and fresh. Olivia's Kitchen is obviously a hit with the locals, judging by the packed house. Despite how busy the restaurant was, our waiter, Mark, provided exceptional service. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. If you're in the mood for a tasty breakfast or brunch in a chic and lively setting with great service, Olivia's Kitchen is an absolute must-visit.
