Was doubtful whether they serve pure vegetarian dish or not but fortunately after asking two different places I got lucky enough to get vegetarian option over there. I had aloo which is outstanding, bhatmas-peanut sadheko is also good, aloo Tama and beaten rice along with plain bara. The taste of bara with the sauce they serve is great combo. I enjoyed my evening snacks. The best part is it was raining, I was so desperate to have tea on such weather and surpeisngly they serve tea. I had 2 milk tea, one plate of beaten rice, one aloo Tama (bamboo shots and potato soup), one soyabean-peanuts, one potato vegetable, two lentil pancakes (bata) in just 345 rupees which is reasonable. Is great.. in terms of the food taste and authenticity..Price can ve termed reasonable.. accomodation of more than a hundred people ensures every one gets a place any time and its hardly a time when you get here and dont get a table, the overwhelming number of people coming gere on wekends however makes it feel a but claustrophobic.. It's good. They have unique taste and amazing homely hospitality. It's never crowed and u do get a nice view of forest and nearby villages around Kirtipur. I am a vegetarian but still liked items so I bet this place will be heaven for all non veg. Do visit it once. Enjoy.
