I fell in love with El Mediterráneo. First thing I noticed right after entering was the ambience. So Good! I was wondering what took me so long to try this restraunt. 2nd thing I noticed was the waiter is really friendly and sweet. 3rd the owner was really very nice. He shared his experience with us, told us about the ingredients used, how the dish is made and the new system they introduced in their restraunt. And the food... OMG! The food is to die for. We were trying Tapas for the first time and were a little bit nervous on what we will be getting. But as the food was being served, we loved every dish from the menu. As we were enjoying the food, the conversation with the owner made the whole experiwnce interesting. Since we were the last customers, he even gave us some deserts on the house 😊 and we were not complaining. If you wanna try Spanish dishes and have a good long conversation with friends and family, do visit El...
Read moreEverything about this place is amazing. From the atmosphere, to the food, to Bibhushan who runs the place. He speaks perfect Spanish and English, and loves the Spanish culture. Which is why this place is so good.
The tapas are what you should aim for. There are so many options, and it’s fun to share small bites with friends. Their wine is really good, alongside cocktails they make at the bar.
During my short stay in Nepal, I would come back to this place often. My favorite things are their mushrooms, their honey brandy whisky, and their paella - which takes 30 minutes to make but it’s a huge quantity of food that is easily shared between 3-4 people. Go for the desserts - I love their carrot crepe, it’s made with buffalo milk.
This is a great place for brunch, lunch or dinner. Besides tapas, I love their amazingly fresh salads with butter lettuce greens. And their soups are killer.

They have a visual menu for people like me who might not know everything about Spanish food. I went for their Tapas which consisted of 12 different variant of Spanish food. The minimum order is two as one order occupies the all the set of the kitchen stoves and utensils. It's worth to order that as it gives you a bite size of almost the whole menu. It's like getting a bite 12 different flavor of Spain.
The waiter manages the order perfectly and helps you to make your decision.
The place is not only about food but an amazing experience in hospitality.
I have never been to Spain but I am sure El Mediterraneo covered a...
