Everest Arirang Korean restaurant — Restaurant in Lalitpur Metropolitan City

Went there for dinner after seeing good reviews. However I was a bit disappointed.

I was lucky to get a parking inside but then it was Wednesday We ordered chicken kimbap, kimchi jigae with chicken and steamed momo. Kimbap rice was undercooked. But the kimchi jigae and steamed momo was pretty good. Ordered hot lemon with honey and ginger. It was so sour that we had to ask for a replacement. And the ginger pieces were really big.

Ambiance of the outside area was good with the lights but inside was disappointing. As soon as you enter food smell is very strong. I almost wanted to leave. The sit-down room cushion looked dirty. And the service was very slow although there were hardly any customers.

Lastly, I went to the restroom and put soap on my hands just to realize the tap did not have any water. I looked under the sink and turned on the knob and thankfully...

The kimchi lacked the signature spicy and tangy taste, and the bibimbap was rather bland. That being said, the service at Everest Arirang Korean Restaurant was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was pleasant and cozy.

I recently visited this Korean restaurant in Jhamiskhel and was absolutely blown away by the experience comparing before and now. The ambiance was cozy.The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in.

We tried a variety of dishes, but the Kimchi Jjigae korean chicken were standout favorites—flavorful, rich, and authentic! The kimbap had a perfect balance of fresh ingredients, and the sides (banchan) served alongside it was too good .

When i talk to staff i came to know this restaurant is operated by very young chef 🧑‍🍳 Seeing too bg didnt think to disturb else i would have meet and appreciate him.
