Have you ever tried burnt milk tea?
My mom is a die-hard milk tea lover, while I'm not much of a tea person. Still, being a food enthusiast, I like exploring different teas. My mom raved about how firewood-brewed burnt milk tea holds a special spot for her. I never understood the appeal until last week when I stumbled upon this cozy place that, to my surprise, not only offered tea/coffee but also Korean food. Turns out, it's part of a chain with three outlets. Go figure!
I get why Ghainte Chiya is a hit. The burnt milk tea hit the spot, especially in the chilly morning.
The Korean Toast, though, didn't live up to the visual hype from the picture. Taste-wise, it was good, but I thought it was a bit pricey.
