Some may say that once you’ve had samay baji once, you’ve tried them all. As the unelected foreign expert in this Newari feast (😂), I am here to tell you that is not true.

Example? This one. It was utterly fantastic. Spice hits, fermented deliciousness and more than anything, it had all the proper diversity of textures that level a Samay Baji up. Crunchy, crisply, soupy, soft, it had it all. Great price, nice space and the team were lovely too.

Very welcoming atmosphere, beautiful interior, local newari taste and drinks at MRP. What else can a guy ask for? I really liked the way they have decorated the place. I loved their plates and the way they have their food arranged. I personally would call it one of the best places in Patan, for newari food and drinks.
