Amazing host* Please read till the end
As a Canadian from Toronto, I booked this Airbnb for a planned trip to Nepal, chosen by my wife. Unfortunately, our travel plans to India and Nepal were canceled, which was deeply disappointing. To make matters worse, we realized we had missed the deadline for a full refund as per Airbnb’s cancellation policy. According to the rules, the host was fully entitled to keep our payment.
Despite this, I decided to reach out to the host and request an exception for a full refund. To my surprise and immense gratitude, the host graciously agreed and refunded the entire amount. I was truly touched by this act of kindness and generosity. The host’s compassion left such a strong impression that I’m eager to meet him when we eventually visit Nepal. For anyone planning a trip to Nepal and feeling hesitant about staying in a new destination, I wholeheartedly recommend this host. His exceptional care for guests even those who, like us, never had the chance to stay sets him apart. He prioritizes humanity over business, earning a rare and valuable level of trust.
Though I haven’t stayed at the property, I can confidently vouch for this host’s integrity and the quality of his...
Read moreI came to KTM in June for 15 days to attend a Vipassana meditation course. A friend from Nepal had suggested Cosy Nepal for my stay before and after the course. As I arrived in the airport, I got stopped by the immigration because I stupidly forgot to get dollars or euros in cash with me for the visa fee. I called Cosy Nepal as I didn’t know anyone else in the city/country and they helped me out very efficiently and very very kindly. I think I would have had to stay in the airport until the morning if they wouldn’t have spoken to the officers. The place where I staid was so welcoming, homely and clean. I tried a little studio and a 1bhk and both were very special. You get to experience the feel of living in KTM in old buildings and I think we’re lucky that they’re here so that we can enjoy the city in an even more peaceful way. They helped me feel at home even though I was far from my home. They are always kind, peaceful and helpful. I can’t wait to go back to KTM and stay there one more time....
Read moreWow, I out of words to describe our experience with Cosy Nepal: Managed by a French family living in Nepal for over 14 years, you feel welcome the moment you step through the door of their office two blocks from stunning Patan Durbar square. Location is super central in Patan and not too busy. The attention for details is remarkable and the heritage from the Newari is kept intact. Cosy Nepal has several options for staying over; we tried two of them and standard was high in both. Their staff is knowledgeable in helping you planning your trip around Nepal and can help booking flights, cars, trips and other accommodation. They supported us a lot in our first week there. For me this is first class service! This is the PERFECT accommodation for a first time in Nepal as the staff will help you feel at home. I have recommended this location to other friends who had the same feedback. We will be returning there in November again ☺️ Mille merci Camille,...
