I had the pleasure of staying at Timila in Patan for a day, and it truly lived up to its reputation as one of the best hotels in Patan with immense cultural value. From the moment I stepped foot inside the hotel, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a sense of grandeur that is hard to find elsewhere. The services provided by the hotel were simply outstanding. They paid attention to even the tiniest details, ensuring that every customer felt like a VIP. The staff went above and beyond to cater to my needs, making me feel pampered and well taken care of throughout my stay. From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was seamless, and it's evident that they prioritize customer satisfaction. The ambiance and atmosphere of the hotel were truly captivating. The rich history and heritage of the place were reflected in its architecture and decor. As I roamed the halls and explored the common areas, I felt like I was walking through a living museum, and this added a unique charm to my stay. Staying at Timila felt like living as royalty. The opulent rooms with their elegant furnishings and breathtaking views left me in awe. The blend of modern amenities and classic design elements made the experience all the more special. . I enjoyed a variety of cuisines during my stay, and meal was a memorable one. The level of service provided at Timila was unmatched. Whether it was the housekeeping, room service, or the concierge, everyone was attentive and quick to assist. Their dedication to ensuring a flawless experience for their guests truly stood out. Architecturally, Timila is a marvel. The intricate detailing and stunning design elements showcased the craftsmanship of a bygone era. What impressed me the most was how well-maintained the entire property was, despite its age. It was evident that the management took great pride in preserving its heritage. The panoramic view of the Patan was a sight to behold. It was the perfect way to unwind and soak in the majestic surroundings. In conclusion, my experience at the Timila in Patan was nothing short of extraordinary. The blend of cultural heritage, impeccable services, magnificent ambiance, and delicious cuisine made it an unforgettable stay. If you're looking for a truly royal experience in the heart of Patan, this iconic hotel is the perfect choice.

And Thank you Prajwal bhai for making it memorable 🙂

Tucked into a quiet corner near Swotha square, nestled in a courtyard garden adorned with trees and local plants, Timila hotel is a hidden gem offering the best of Newari heritage with heartfelt service. ||A Typical bricked house decorated with fine wood and stone carvings, you will discover Nepalese art and craft around every corner in the lobby lounge area. ||The Timila garden cafe was the best spot I love most in early morning, watching the sun rays streaming through while sipping coffee under the shady tree. There is a little pool full of Japanese koi fishes, and a Buddhist stupa in the courtyard. ||Food served at the cafe - pizza, sandwiches, fried rice, noodle soup - was superb and yummy presented in nice plating. They serve pretty good coffee too, my favourite is the turmeric latte, which works really well on weary stomach. Prices are reasonable and staff is eager to please. ||Rooms come in various types, I prefer those overlooking the courtyard garden. Interior is sleek and simple, neat and clean. There is even a water dispenser located on every floor with free flow of filtered water. ||The property is run by two brothers, who are honest and friendly. They have a small souvenir shop selling local handicraft at reasonable price. Worth taking a look if you want to bring home something memorable. ||There is studio apartment on lease for long term stay, equipped with kitchen facilities. Highly recommended for...

While living in Patan for work in 2022/2023, I stayed at Timila for almost 5 months with my partner and we absolutely loved it - we highly recommend to anyone!!! The studio apartment we had offered everything you could ever want: a comfortable bed, AC, a modern kitchen, high quality amenities, beautiful bathroom, water filter, a private balcony AND a beautiful view over old Patan and during the right time of year you can even see the Himalaya range! Truly gorgeous! The restaurant downstairs is one of the best in Patan, we had so many lunches and dinners there (Kathi Rolls and the traditional Thali Set were our favorites) in the cozy courtyard. The location is perfect, nestled in between temples and 2 minutes from Durbar Square, very charming and just a unique experience. The staff is extremely friendly and everyone was always so quick to help with anything anytime - thank you so so much! We miss this place and people a lot, and it will always be our first choice to stay at when back in Kathmandu/Patan....

This is the best hotel to stay at in the area. The rooms are lovely, very spacious, very cozy. The food is top notch - they have some amazing cooks who really put a lot of love into their cooking. The location is fantastic given the historical Patan area. A special shoutout to all the staff, who are just amazing. They make you feel at home, and they make for a very cheerful and uplifting environment. They are willing to help out with anything and everything. On a personal note, I screwed up my check out date and I was near-panicking. But the staff took charge, helped move our stuff, and handled everything with care and compassion. Professional through-and-through. We loved staying at Timila and would highly recommend it to everyone.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Timila and highly recommend it to solo female travellers. My room was very spacious and spotlessly clean, the bed was comfy and the shower was hot. I felt very secure and the hotel was clearly signposted so easy to find. Free filtered water was provided in the room every day with places to refill as needed. The breakfast options were extensive and generous and all the meals I ate were delicious and excellent value for money. Service very quick and staff so friendly and helpful. The courtyard is beautiful - a quiet oasis among the busy streets. Great view from the rooftop too. It is my first time in Nepal and I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, I hope to return!

Honestly speaking this place is heavenly. I had taken the bamboo suite, the suite is aesthetically pleasing having a quite comfy sofa area with a TV, a study table, good sized bed and a walk in closet into the washroom area. The suite is very spacious and bright. Also, there was a attached balcony which was again huge and spacious. The breakfast they served was quite good not disappointing at all. The hospitality is great. (There’s a dog too named Bruno and trust me he is such a cute and lovable dog.) All in all I think that this place is really warmly and pleasing. I would for sure love to stay in the bamboo suite again. I would recommend this place to everyone.
