Service: You get there and take a table but no one notices you. After 15 minutes of wait, you get to the counter and order the food by your self. The staffs don't care if the guests need something. Food: The food is not that good compared to the pricr. The water that was served to you had some kind of bug on it. The rest: They make you pay service charge and VAT but don't give you an invoice. When you ask for an invoice, they give you an estimate. When you ask for a real VAT bill (since you paid the VAT amount), they hesitate. To summarize, NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED. This place worth no visit.

I usually have Thai food, and I had Pad Thai for the fourth time at this place. I’ve tried Pad Thai at many places across Nepal, and this place serves one of the best. The rice noodles were perfectly cooked and well-flavored, with a decent amount of meat. I forgot the name of the chicken dish (the one I’ve posted a picture of), but it was average — just okay to go with. I also tried the Thai tea, but I wouldn’t recommend it, as it tastes just like Nepali tea in a colder version. This place has a parking issue — there’s no parking available for four-wheelers.

Thai Ghar offers a decent dining experience with a variety of options for authentic Thai cuisine. The ambiance is pleasant, providing a comfortable setting for enjoying a meal. Their menu features a good range of Thai dishes, each prepared with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. Whether you're a fan of classic dishes like Pad Thai or Thai Green Curry, or you're looking to try something new, there's something for everyone. Overall, it's a great spot for Thai food lovers seeking a satisfying meal in a relaxed atmosphere.

My recent order from thai ghar through Foodmandu was an absolute joke. The portion sizes were ridiculously small, like they were trying to stretch out every last bit of food. I ordered stir-fried chicken with cashew, and guess what—no cashews! Then came the meatballs with tamarind sauce, but they forgot the sauce entirely. It was dry and tasteless. For what they charge, this is nothing short of a rip-off. You pay premium prices and get less than half of what you'd expect. I’ve never felt so cheated by a restaurant. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place...
