When a restaurant has one page menu with 10 items , you know you can’t go wrong , and definitely not when they also have a live kitchen and local females cooking for you.
Duna Tapari is such restaurant , freshest fish and meats ,staff full of warmth and humble to the core.
I had fish, and I am not a fish eater , this fish was so fresh I couldn’t say no.
Food is served in organic disposables so it’s high up on the sustainability grid.

I would recommend the bbq fish and Dal Bhat. Personally I liked the paneer momo too. Be careful, the fish pieces are filled with bones (as expected) Dal Bhat has free flow rice and Dal so big eaters, rejoice!

There is however is a very nice Nepali veg thali and veg pakoras are also available along with a few other veg snacks. Prices are similar to other tourist restaurants in this area, but here the food quality is higher. Traditional floor seating downstairs with regular table seating upstairs.
