Pro: Food is good Con: Customer service stinks!!! Date of visit: 7-Nov-21

When we first walked in waitress assumed we were to go clients and never asked if we were to dine-in, I had to imply such.

On social media the breakfast special is advertised as $10, but was told it's $12.

Waitress was very impatient!!! She got impatient when we took longer than she expected to place order (we were the only customers there). She got impatient when she didn't understand the order right the first time.

Our meal came with a choice of tea or coffee, we received such item when we almost finish eating our meal. When we asked as a reminder was told "the kettle is still boiling the water and she is helping another customer". I had to slow down eating my meal, just to enjoy my tea with my food. My husband had completely finish eating by the time the tea was received.

The waitress was always on her personal cellphone having conversations via speaker phone and LOUD!!

We had the feeling that we were inconveniencing the waitress by entering and having breakfast.

It is a cash only establishment- NO VISIBLE SIGN THAT MENTIONS SUCH- was told to go and find an ATM!! Unfortunately the nearest was closed and my husband had to drive to another while I sit and wait.

After calculating our meal, I noticed that the waitress rounded up the 15% service charge and charged us more than she should. To avoid any further attitude, we left it as is!!

I like the food from here but service is sooooo slow. There’s usually only one person cooking / managing the store and lately it’s been getting busy with tourism picking up. Obviously there needs to be more consistent staffing to keep up with the demand. I try to get fresh coconuts here because it’s close to campus, but the first time I got it, I had to wait almost 25 minutes for them to open it. While I was a little annoyed, I was patient since there was only one man working and he was finishing up a previous order by a family who ordered a few dishes. The staff here is friendly but work at a snail’s pace. I tried to go back and get more coconuts today, and even though I was the only other customer waiting (while again, the man was finishing up the other customer’s order) I waited for about 15 minutes. Eventually I got fed up because another staff member came in to assist in food prep but they kept making me wait to prepare more food. I put the coconuts back because they had been sitting on the counter for a long time. More customers started piling in & I knew at that point they weren’t going to help me for another 15-20 minutes. The guy apologized when he saw me putting back the coconuts & i told him I could no longer wait for him but I don’t see a point in apologizing when he knew I was standing there for a while with no other customers, waiting for him. Just as the other recent posts states, the service is terrible.

I actually was the only person there at around 11am. I walked in and was just stared at by the two ladies working there. No greeting, nothing. But since I saw other reviews on how good the food was, I gave it a chance. So I then asked if I should sit outside or inside and how to order food. I ordered breakfast and sat outside. 20 minutes later, my OJ arrived as I was getting up to inquire about it. My food came shortly after while missing basic table setup items. I also asked about the bacon I ordered and was told she didn’t know I ordered it, even though I saw her write it down. No apologies, or acknowledgment of the mistake. She just walked away.

She returned fairly quickly with a pile of bacon pieces. I looked at it and laughed assuming that she would understand that bacon bits weren’t gonna pass as strips of bacon. She wasn’t pleased when I asked to have them sent back and I didn’t want a replacement (even though a replacement wasn’t offered.)

I was never checked on and ended up going inside for my bill and a take away box as my breakfast experience was ruined.

I will not be returning.
