I did not have the chef’s menu- this seems to be the popular choice. My wife and I ordered a la carte and I was not impressed. We ordered the Sourdough with olive oil and maldon sea salt and she had the Grilled Aubergine to start. The sourdough bread was a dense and darker style loaf (not my favourite and not what I expected) The portions were generous but the portion of olive oil did not match the quantity of bread and the tiny dipping bowl it came in made it difficult to dip. On the same plate as the bread serving was a strange addition- with a texture like butter - but it wasn’t. My initial guess was it was some type of Mediterranean spread like taramasalata, I tried a little and it was horrible, with a consistency of aerated margarine with little taste. I stayed well clear of that. My wife enjoyed her starter. For the main course I had the smash burger - to be honest it looked like the chef misunderstood the idea of what a smash burger is, instead interpreting it by squashing both the burger and the bun into a decidedly flat affair with no height. But it tasted good and the portion was generous. My wife ordered a Beetroot salad, she noted that one of the main ingredients - blueberries, was missing. Desert was a deconstructed cheese cake - overly sweet but nicely plated.

With a tomato juice, Mint tea and a glass of house red, the bill came to €64. Overall- the experience was neither great nor bad. However, friendly staff and interesting decor...

They say at this place everything is possible. Utter rubbish. They are not Dog friendly here at all and the lady said it in a very unfriendly way too as if we had done something really morally wrong. We will not be back and definatly do not reccomend this place with an attitude like she had.

So we left with our very sweet tiny poodle and found somewhere really nice and pleasant v.dog friendly in the same square and the whole experience was awesome from the service all the way to the food. I had a fantastic experience there with my wife yesterday! We wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary and went for 5 course chefs menu. We sat at the chefs table and had a great interaction with the chef. Even though my wife has some food allergies, the chef was very considerate and the meals were surprising us positively every time. Fresh local veggies, rich flavours and beautiful presentation & description! I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to have either a very special evening, or just a good time and food....
