Kessariya — Restaurant in Almere

We have been coming here since 2023 but the 2 last visits we have noticed a significant decline in the quality of service. Yesterday was our last visit, we felt unattended and very disappointed. We had ordered a bottle of white wine that came un-chilled. The owner/waiter/cook placed it in a wine cooler with ice but the first glass was warm. At tje same time we ordered water, This came after 30 minutes after we asked for a second time for the water with the owner/waiter/cook. After 50 minutes waiting the same man came to our table and asked what we ordered because he had lost the ticket in the kitchen. He then came back saying he had found the ticket. 2 of the 3 starters then came, they were tasty but salty. We asked about the 3rd one and were told it was coming. When it did it was the wrong one. I took it back and explained, there was no excuse and i was made to feel that it was my fault. When the onion bhaji came, it was not accompanied by the dip mentioned on the menu. Soon after came our main courses. Again we missed a accompaniment, again i asked it to be corrected. When it came i was sarcastically asked if we now had everything. Not nice and very rude. The dishes are labeled on the menu with pepers, then more the spicier. My dish with 1 peper was less spicy than my partners dish that had no peper by it. The main dishes were tasty but the damage had been done, the service was not good. When i went to pay i also discovered that the bill was incorrect, at mentioning this, again i was looked at as if i was the one that was wrong. At no point with all the small mistakes did we receive an appology, and that is the biggest mistake. Nice and cosy place to have good Indian food and chat..it was not planned we were just passing by on Wednesday evening and thought of stopping by as it was raining and we were craving for some good Indian chat..so we dropped inn.we ordered tikki chaat,momos,chai and some jalebis..tikki chaat presentation was remarkable and it tasted yumm for me the flavours were too good just like Delhi chaat but the spice level for me was less but my husband was super happy and we relished each but and bite of it.The momosalso tasted good and the chai...oh my god..it was too good generally you don't get good chai here..I have tried few restaurants but they were hopeless .Jalebis was super crispy just the way we like it..we were not sure about jalebis that should we order or no because they said it's premade but it's fresh they prepare everyday..but it's not hot..but then we were craving so thought let's try...and we did not regret at all..the jalebis were super crispy and yumm...If you stay in Almere I would say you must try this restaurant once and experience the deliciously delicious food.Sharing few pictures..sorry the tikkie was served hot so completely forgot to take picture but then it was about to finish..and suddenly I remember what the fish I did not click the picture...so excuse me for the...
