WowBBQ — Restaurant in Almere

Food: The food was delicious. I really loved the seafood. Love the twist with the BBQ. Still the seafood won.

Service: The service was perfect, super friendly staff and very understanding.

My strawberry daiquiri wasn't like a typical one I'm used to,I could not taste the alcohol. When I spoke to the manager at pay out and mentioned it,he was very apologetic,understanding and appreciative. He was happy with the honest feedback and offered to remove the drink from the tap straight away. He mentioned that if something like this occurs in the future to mention it straight away and we can solve it together by making it the way I like it. To me,that's the definition of good customer service.

Atmosphere: The music in the background was lovely. I doubt that everyone would love it ( older people). Perhaps it was a little loud in my opinion but nonetheless the vibe was very nice

A side note: It could be a bit uncomfortable for smaller people to reach for the food and dip the sauce as the seafood dish is on top of the bbq. Had to stand up a few times for a better view.

Will I visit again? Definitely yes. Can't...

We dined in here last December as a family for our special family occasion. The service from start till end is friendly and excellent. The food was delicious both the Seafood platter and Bbq spit meats. Soeciall mention the sauce on the seafood is great. Worth it every penny. Staff is great. You wont get the standard apron until you asked for it. Their restaurant is spacious and beautiful. Sanitary space (toilet) is also clean and tidy. Wat is deze zaak een verschrikking! Zodra je binnenkomt worden je oren geprikkeld (of beter gezegd: overprikkeld) door hele harde muziek. Dat is ook te merken tijdens het eten als er een fatsoenlijk gesprek gevoerd wordt en je onfatsoenlijk je stem moet verheffen om verstaanbaar te kunnen zijn. Er wordt Engels gesproken waar ik normaal gesproken geen probleem mee heb, maar dit was onze eerste keer hier en de uitleg was niet echt duidelijk waardoor het concept 4 keer uitgelegd moest worden. De mensen die daar werken zijn totaal niet hospitality gericht. Op de uitleg na en het serveren van ons eten en drinken, zijn ze niet meer aan ons tafeltje geweest om te vragen of alles naar wens was of dat je gewoon kan opstaan met al je spullen om te betalen onderweg naar de uitgang. Het eten ansich was lekker. Het was niet wow, maar ook niet no. De smaak was prima, maar de hoeveelheid staat niet gelijk aan de prijs. Je krijgt veel te weinig dan waarvoor je betaalt. We kregen een klein portie seafood voor €36 en 6 stokjes vlees en 2 stokjes ananas voor €31, €7,50 voor een (klein) portie friet en een bakje saus om vis in te dippen is €6,50. Belachelijk.
