In a world that spins with relentless chaos, Mr. Phan Vietnamese emerges as a radiant oasis of culinary bliss, a veritable island of serenity amidst the tempest of our hectic lives. From the moment you cross the threshold, a wave of tranquil elegance envelops you, as if the very air hums with the promise of gastronomic transcendence. The atmosphere is nothing short of a Zen garden for the soul. Soft lighting, gentle whispers of conversation, and an ambiance that cradles you like a warm embrace from a long-lost friend.
The food is a symphony of flavors, a masterful ode to Vietnamese culinary artistry that dances on the palate with the delicate grace of a lotus blossom. Each dish arrives as a bountiful cornucopia, portions so generous they could sustain a poet’s muse for a lifetime. The phở is a revelation, its broth a silken elixir of umami, simmered to perfection as if blessed by ancient deities of flavor. The banh mi, a crisp-crusted marvel, cradles fillings so vibrant they could inspire sonnets. And in a stroke of genius, the cilantro, soy, garlic, and chili are presented separately, like precious jewels in a treasure chest, allowing you to play alchemist and craft your own masterpiece of taste.

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Mr. Phan Cuisine in Almere, and I can genuinely say it exceeded my expectations.
From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Our food arrived surprisingly quickly, which was lovely, since it was beautifully presented.
The atmosphere is stylish and elegant without feeling overdone. The interior design is truly something to admire, modern, tasteful, and inviting. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable, whether you’re with friends, on a date, or even dining solo.
The music added a pleasant background ambiance, subtle and not too loud, allowing for easy conversation. Although it wasn’t traditional Vietnamese music (which might have added an extra cultural touch), the playlist still fit the vibe of the restaurant.
Now, onto the highlight: the food. I had the Grilled Bowl with chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. Perfectly grilled, well-seasoned, and incredibly satisfying. The portion size was more than generous, definitely great value for money. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor, clearly prepared with care and attention.
To top it all off, the location is ideal, right in the center of Almere, easy to reach and surrounded by shops and other attractions.
If you’re in Almere and craving Vietnamese-inspired cuisine in a beautiful setting, Mr. Phan Cuisine is a must-visit. Great food, wonderful service, and an overall lovely experience. I’ll definitely be...
Read moreThis place has become a form Favorite. Ate here for a second time in quick succession for dinner after a great lunch a week before.
For lunch we had the Com Tam pork chop. My wife had the Banh Mi cha sieuw and the soft rice roll with shrimp.
Rice roll was solid. The banh Mi was tasty, but not a real Banh Mi. Not authentic like in Paris or Vietnam. The bread was not made with rice flour and the filling missed pate, Mayo etc.
But this was all made right with the com Tam with pork chop. Amazing dish. According to the waiter…only con tam in the Borth of the Netherlands. The pork chop was sweet and savory with a nice bbq Smokey flavor. What set this dish apart was the perfectly cooked fried egg with the runny Yolk. Unfortunately when I had this the second time the egg was not well cooked. The egg white and the Yolk was still raw. I asked for a quick over and under. But instead got the egg back fully cooked. What was also tasty was the frittata. Not sure what it is. But it complimented the white rice and the pork chop perfectly.
The second time around my wife tried the ComTam chicken. They thigh filet. It was solid juicy, amazing chicken.
Only bad part of both dishes….you can’t order just the meat. Sad.
We also like the home made Ice Tea.
In all this place has become our go to place for Vietnamese cuisine in the...
