't Lieve Vrouwtje — Restaurant in Amersfoort

So I've been here both at lunch and for dinner. I definitely recommend the lunch based solely on my experience. Did was fantastic both times, but the staff for the dinner shift when I was there was not the best. We had issues getting anyone's attention to order additional drinks, and the table behind us had an inexcusable experience.... one of their plate orders was not even placed and so that gentleman didn't receive his food until will after everyone else had finished their meals.... they ordered several drinks (before they received their food) and didn't receive those until after the last plate came out(when they were done eating even though they asked about their drink order repeatedly).... and one of the drinks ordered for a child was expired. Honestly I am unsure why that group was still there considering what they went through just in the short time...

This cosy restaurant has a unique concept. You get three courses, and for each course you can select 3 small dishes from 12 (starter and main) choices and 3 from 5 for dessert. The portions are big enough to make you feel full at the end of it and it allows you to sample many tastes in one meal.

The food is of good quality and presentation is very good. Staff is always very competent and helpful and it feels like they take care in who they hire.

Overall a recommended place to eat, especially suitable for couples for a romantic dinner or old friends...

Looooved this place! We had no idea where we wanted to eat so we called in 5 minutes beforehand and it was no problem. We could walk in without a reservation. The waitresses were lovely. They were really fun and experienced! The food tasted really homemade in a good way, like your grandma would cook you up something nice. The atmosphere was phenomenal.
