The food (club sandwich and the bowl) and cappuccino were really nice. The service and hospitality made us feel very welcome. Overall it just felt very homely.

That said, the chai latte...I would've given 2 or 3 stars (average to below average). The ratio of chai, milk and foam was off (way too much foam) and the chai mix used had very little flavour. It wasn't bad in any way, but it wasn't anywhere close to the quality of the rest of cafe.

And if I can be nitpicky: the avocado on the club sandwich was overripe (i.e. too soft)...but that didn't detract at all from the club sandwich, which was...

We kwamen binnen even kijken naar deze voor ons nieuwe horecagelegenheid. We besloten toch op het terras buiten te gaan zitten. Dit deelden we nog mee aan de bediening. Na 10 minuten wachten toch maar zelf om de kaart gaan vragen. Let wel, het was niet druk. Twee tafels bezet op dat moment. Omdat de ochtendzon achter de Kamperpoort verdween toch maar binnen gaan zitten.

We bestelden naast koffie en thee twee croissants met jam en één club sandwich. Op dit eten hebben we vervolgens een uur op moeten wachten. Nogmaals, het was echt niet druk en er was vier man personeel.

Het eten was verder prima hoor, maar als we zo lang op een relatief simpel ontbijtje moeten wachten, gaan we de volgende keer wel ergens anders ontbijten. Het feit dat het ook nog eens steenkoud binnen was, droeg ook niet bij...

A perfect brunch spot, stumbled here by luck. The staff are lovely, the food is beautifully done and tasty & the atmosphere is trendy and warm.

Highly recommend coming by. If you happen upon a sunny day, I'd love to grab a table outside by the canal and...
