Habanero Fresh-Mex — Restaurant in Amersfoort

This place is fabulous. I don't generally throw around superlatives, but this is the most authentic Mexican I have found this side of the Atlantic. Not only is it authentic, it's also delicious. I definitely rejoice that the portion size is generous. I love the roasted jalapeño salsa. Not going to kill you, but it delivers that lovely kick. You can tell that those on the cooking love what they do. The clientèle are a mixed bag, anything from alternative folks or football jongens to me, Always yearning for the foods I miss from living in the USA. 10/10...

Great food, nice staff and food came quick. There is a lot of potential for this restaurant, but the atmosphere is just really lacking. Dirty tables, old crusty sauce bottles, no one present to greet you when you enter. It’s surprising, because the food was great, but it feels as if the staff is not even trying to make it attractive to come and dine in. Got attracted to this place through social media, which they do a great job at, but the aesthetic marketing does not live...

Mijn nieuwe favo hotspot in Amersfoort!! Wat een aanwinst. Ik heb ze ontdekt via insta en besloot er vorige week te gaan eten! Pohhhh wat was het heerlijk! Ik had de burrito met kip genomen en de rundvlees birria. De 1 nog lekkerder dan de ander!! Ook de bowl geproefd die mijn schoonzus had genomen met citroen koriander rijst. OMG!!! Nooit eerder geweten dat ik citroen/koriander rijst zo lekker vind :-p haha! Echt heeeerlijk, ik wil er nu weer gaan eten!

Naast dat het eten verrukkelijk is, is de service ook echt top. Er werken echt hele lieve en vriendelijke mensen. Dat is tegenwoordig ook niet meer vanzelfsprekend. Daarnaast zijn de prijzen schappelijk en gewoon waard voor wat je krijgt!

Wat ik ook echt een pluspunt vind is dat je gewoon precies voldoende keus hebt. Geen menukaart met 6282 gerechten waar je uit kan kiezen, maar gewoon een kleine selectie van gerechten. Je mag zelf de toppings kiezen en het wordt gewoon top klaargemaakt en het is echt vers! Echt een aanrader, ik zou er nu naartoe rennen als ik jou was :-D!
