Bij Barba has been the go-to place for me and my loved ones for the past three years, anf hopefully many more! Located in West, close to a busy street yet the feeling of the fuss is not noticeable due to the cozy and friendly atmosphere. The new starter in the changing menu, fresh anchovies with pickled red onion and tomatoes on a soft and cripsy pizza dough goes magically with the creamy nutty burrata. I always go for pizza Margherita and it never fails to hit the spot. The owner and chef is by far the loveliest man to meet and chat with, has a profound passion for what he does and always gets to greet every customer and create a family like experience. This restaurant is a true gastronomic journey! It’s my second time here, and I’m amazed once again. The owner is a remarkable person—personally greeting guests, cooking, and sharing the story behind each dish. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, as if visiting an old friend.

And the food… The taste is divine! Every dish is an explosion of flavors and emotions, as if each bite holds a piece of love and craftsmanship. Most importantly, this place is not just about great food—it’s a place you’ll want to come back to!

If you are in to “old-school” pizza, you should visit them, but if you are in for different tastes created by the owner then you should definitely visit this place. Don’t expect a menu but ask the chef what he has created that day, and boy you’ll be treaded with the most delicious dishes. I would highly recommend...
