Its a shame that such prime realestate with a pretty interior can be so horribly awful!
Sadly, as a first time visiter of the area, this restaurant was the only one that drew my attention, I encourage you to not repeat the same mistake I made and as many others (judging by the reviews).
First of all, I am genuinly concerned about the food quality. As an amateur cook I have become familirized with how fresh home cooked meals are supposed to taste, feel and what temperature they should be. This place 100% prepares their dishes in large batches and definitely freezes them for weeks on end, chicken is not supposed to be that chewy, bland and colorless (i found one chicken to be gray, this is not normal). I would have loved to call some food and health authority to have a look at this place, but this brings us to the next problem.
If a waiter offers you chicken skewers (bbq chicken on a stick), you should best believe that this is not a free product that will be accompanied by your 20€ meal, they will charge you on the bill, even though they conviniently dont mention that you actually have to pay. This abomination of a chicken skewer costs 4€, for this price (which they conviently dont tell you about) you'd expect a nice skewer fresh off the bbq or perhaps a couple of them! Noooo, dont be a fool, this is one of those premade and frozen chickens i mentioned earlier and you are given a single stick.
Its honestly emberassing that they do this (lowkey scam). It shows where their business ethics lie, its not about the customer or quality, but about...
Read moreOn the 5th of December at 22.30, We went in to get a quick beer before taking the train.there were a maximum of 30 people in the place. There were around 6 waiters standing around and chit chatting with one another. They told us at the entrance we have to order at the bar , I don't see why , what are the waiters for ? Decoration ? They have a barcode ordering system that doesn't work , so after waiting for 10 minutes and noone serving us , I went to the bar , and asked why noone is taking an order, they said we have to come to the Bar. So I need to get out of my chair and pay 6 euros for a Lagunitas IPA ? I don't think so , why do you have waiters for ? Are they there for decoration? This is not what I call customer service.if its busy, I can understand, but they were sitting around chit chatting , and then me as a customer needs to get up and go order ? And you think as an owner that this is normal ?I might as well drink that beer at home , I still need to get up and go get it from the fridge for 1,2 euros total, thank you very much. I'm not going back again to a place where the customer needs to put in the work. I did not order food ( they'd probably ask me to cook it my self) so I can not grade that, but service 1 / 100 on a good day. The place has nice decoration though , that's all. If you as a bussiness owner want to see customers you have to respect them , if you want customers to come in pay , and work for it also , then you'll be out of bussiness soon enough , that's...
Read moreI recently had the opportunity to visit Jinso Lounge in Amsterdam post the Coldplay concert, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. Located just outside the Johann Cruyff arena, this lounge is the perfect spot to visit before concerts or games.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a vibrant atmosphere and good vibes. The lounge had a trendy and modern decor, creating a stylish and comfortable ambiance. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that every guest felt welcome.
One of the standout features of Jinso Lounge is the music. The playlist was carefully curated, with a mix of genres that catered to different tastes. The music added to the overall energetic and lively atmosphere, making it an ideal place to get into the right mood before a concert or game.
After the concert, Jinso Lounge transformed into an excellent spot for an after-party. The atmosphere remained lively, and the DJ continued to play great tunes that kept the energy levels up. The lounge had ample seating and space for dancing, allowing guests to enjoy themselves and celebrate the night away.
Overall, I highly recommend Jinso Lounge for anyone looking for a memorable pre-concert or post-concert experience. The combination of good vibes, good music, and a great location near the Johann Cruyff arena makes it an excellent choice for both locals and tourists alike. Whether you're looking to kick off the evening or extend the celebration, Jinso Lounge is the...
