If you are an expat, I’d recommend you to stay away from this place, especially when the old owner is there.
We got there there at a quite hour, there was only one other customer, the man didn’t come to get our order for 10mins until I went to order myself.
I asked for homemade lemonade in Dutch and confirmed in English. The old man working there asked what flavors I want but gave me soda instead, he kept gaslighting me by saying lemonade is “soda with flavors”, and he gave me a glass of cola?? While we were discussing the difference between soda and lemonade with him, he abruptly and rudely asked us to leave.
I find him very rude and I was mistreated and he had ruined a nice Sunday evening for me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

It is an wrong accusation from the owner, I did not call him names, they should feel free to post that "video clip" of our conversation, neither side had used harsh words.
Of course miscommunication can sometimes happens, even there was one, the man could have just given me the right ones. And also, it was funny to see that the owner just presumed I am a 'tourist' while I have been living in this country for some years, would I be treated more friendly if he didn't assume me as a foreign tourist? We started in Dutch and switched to English. It makes me feel sick that the owner made the ill wish that I will have bad experience here, I have been to so many restaraunts and bars in Amsterdam and it was the first time a bartender mistook soda for lemonade and was mad at the customer for his own mistake, there are certainly friendlier...

It's evident that they put a lot of care and passion into crafting it. Additionally, their Dutch snack was a delightful treat that complemented the lemonade perfectly. The ambiance of the café added to the overall experience, making it a memorable visit. I've attached photos of their exquisite lemonade to give you a glimpse of what awaits you at this gem of a café. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic Dutch flavors and a...
