Café Mads. — Restaurant in Amsterdam

At the end of tram line 3 there is a lovely cafe without the apple laptop people. There is a lovely chatty but dominant waiter that gladly service your needs. The music is not too loud either.

I had a latte. It is creamy with a slight aftertaste bitterness. The foam passes the spoon tezt and you get a glass of water with it.

Excellent service - food was fab - visited just after Christmas so by the waiters own admission they were short on supply but the chicken and bacon "sandwich" was excellent. Came on a single slice of really thick bread, so not a sandwich, but damn it was nice.

Coffee could have been better, but that's common... Breakfast ends at 12, will try to be back for their complete breakfast which sounds great.

Place has the same name, but was renovated recently and I did not like it.

I ordered the chicken burger, and got a very tasteless piece of yesterday’s chicken, deep fried and drenched in tartar, with one piece of lettuce on top 😂

Tea got forgotten in the order but the staff played silly and tried to charge me anyway…
