I might just have been unlucky. I ordered through the website, and when I showed up to collect the order, they didn't know about it and blamed it on a glitch on the website. Fair enough, they did their best to prepare the food quickly and added some extra falafel as a gesture. However, the cauliflower bowl was a huge disappointment. I was expecting a full plate, considering it's more expensive than the wraps. But no, it was five pieces of burned cauliflower with a bit of yoghurt sauce for €10. Very few places deserve a very high score in Google Maps. I would say that the majority which received a 4 or 5 star because there are hyped for an influencer or a picture opportunity or location. Chef Yamen to go is just wonderful. *Hand made wraps (is made in real time, in front of you!) *Very generous portions! (how many places still exists in Amsterdam where you can get full for 8 euros with good food?!) *Chef Yamen is a hard working and serves you with kindness.

Without a doubt one of the best spots in Amsterdam. The chef and founder's skills are truly impressive and you can not only see but taste the high quality of his cooking and ingredients. I recommend the beef over the chicken wrap, if you want something a little more moist. But both are delicious. In the beef wrap you get pieces of pomegranate that really freshen it up.
