I absolutely enjoyed the burger and the great service from the owner (not certainly sure but I believe he is the owner who is always welcoming us and give good vibes anytime we visit)

The burger is big, juicy and fulfilling, my most favourite burger in Amsterdam! The bacon jam is also really good, one day my husband wanted to try but I was not fully sure and he suggested us to put it aside so we both can try, we appreciated the offer :) was very good indeed!

We once did the take away, since the burger is big, on that day i was not super hungry I didn’t want to eat a whole burger so we decided to order 1 burger and flies and we share together. He cut the burger for us and it was well wrapped. He mentioned it might drip but it didn’t. He really delivers his care and his kindness during the service and that also a beautiful thing about this place.

There is a growing trend of Smash Burgers in Amsterdam and Janana Burger has been leading the way for awhile now. I think the trend is a by product of just how bad and processed Dutch Burgers at most places are. By creating a smash burger you tend to avoid that as the patty needs to be of a higher smashable quality than your typical pre-sized factory patty you see at most places. A fine addition to the neighborhood, this burger joint really knows how to grill a burger. Eat here if you want to taste a well executed Maillard Reaction. The smash burgers, being of a thin patty and so wide that they come out of the bun, makes it something I would get more than one patty for. I will say that the extra toppings are a bit pricey for a burger so I tend to skip them since their burger is good enough anyway. They also do not accept cash. Recommendation: Get two...

Best burger in Amsterdam! Holy cow, how can you make those buns so tasty 😌💖 every piece of burger made here looks like a piece of art and gets treatment like one. I saw them baking the buns and oh-la-la! This is a burger shop that is top quality, where everything is literally made from scratch including the veggie and vegan options. Mind blown 😳 the toppings here also are one of a kind, loved the fries, and coleslaw is a MUST. Try the bacon jam as a topping for sure and as I am a Carnivore, I recommend the double cheese burger. I obviously tried my friend's vegan burger and it is impossible to compare them, both are unique.
