FEBO is a Dutch institution. It's called snack food - bitterballen, kaasoufle, croketten, frites. And they are experts in that.

Don't take this the wrong way. FEBO food is like the equivalent of culinary roadkill, you don't want to eat it, but you can't help yourself. The fries are crunchy and salty and come with a generous portion of fritesaus (well, you have to pay for it, but it's there). The other snacks are all good versions of traditional Dutch specialties. Their fried chicken is great.

Bottom line, don't expect 5* michelin but do expect Dutch classics done consistently well.

Went once for lunch with my partner to get some food, and as non Dutch speakers,, we found it quite funny as the word "munt" was on there (which means to vomit in Aus). It was quite childish but nothing more than a light hearted laugh, but the staff must have thought we were high on something and refused to even speak to us after we queued. Instead, they served customers who were clearly behind us and continued to ignore us after several times of saying "excuse me".
