Pizza was ok but not amazing. My main issue with this place was the “owner” I was there today and i saw the owner of this place being very disrespectful with the delivery guy. I was close to the door so i could hear everything. It was my second (and last) time in this place. All these reviews you see is from previous owners, the other time i went there were only italian guys working and very polite people ( thats why i went back ) none of these reviews you see is from actual owners.. wait a few more days and if they keep like this you will see more reviews like mine. The delivery man was very polite asking for the order, the owner started to shout saying bad word such as f* off and saying he is the owner so he talks however he wants and the pizza would still take long, he had to wait etc... My point of view is, the delivery guy represents the customers, he is picking up an order any of us as a customer could have ordered. He is hurrying because he wants us ( the customers ) to have it on time because when we order we are expecting it on time. Now, this owner clearly don’t see it this way and was very disrespectful at all times with the delivery guy ( with us, the customers ) plus a very bad example of leadership for the employees who sees the owner talking in this way with the customers ( can the employees also talks like this? ). At the end, a lady came (seems like the other owner) and instead of helping she was also very impolite asking the delivery guy to leave. Showing again a very bad professionalism and lack of experience with customers. I totally don’t recommend this place because of this, it is a very bad atmosphere there so avoid yourself of being told to f* off and go to a better place where you are welcome to stay and are not told to leave like the delivery guy was. There are many more in Amsterdam. 1 star is too much for this...
Read moreLook I get it… I also work in a job where you have to deal with customers all day, and I know the general public can be tiring (especially in Amsterdam). I’ve been there. I get it. However, no matter how hard your day has been it’s just plain rude to disrespect your customers.
I walked in to get a takeaway. The restaurant was busy so I decided to wait by the counter until the staff had a free minute to serve me. A long queue formed behind me as time passed, even going out the door, yet no staff thought to say “just a minute” or assure us someone would be with us soon. It was unclear where to wait until a tall man with dark long hair (you know who you are) walked up to us and said “Are you all just going to stand in the middle of the restaurant then?” in an aggravated tone, as to suggest we were being mindless when HE worked there and could have easily directed us where to go 15 minutes ago when we walked in. How dare you speak to customers like that when we pay high prices for your pizza and you have the nerve to speak to us in such a manner. I would truly be embarrassed to work here. Unfortunately, you aren’t special, you’re doing your job, just like everyone else has to. How unprofessional to take that out on your customers. I just can’t remember when it became the customer's fault that your restaurant is managed poorly or understaffed.
When the pizza was ready the man simply handed us the pizza. No eye contact. Nothing. The pizza was mediocre and overpriced, but the burrata on my pizza tasted fresh.
I wouldn’t visit again. But you can if you’re looking for...
Read moreI am a tourist visit Amsterdam. I was lost in the sea of the restaurant in Amsterdam. I searched on the google map and see this restaurant has high rating. When I arrived, I saw lots of locals brought 1 or 2 pizza took away and at 830pm, the restaurant still need to wait for table (worth for waiting)
The food was great. Fresh, Tasty and the taste is almost the same as eating in Italy. The serving is amazing. The man with long hair (Boss?) with great passion running the restaurant. He walking around serving us and singing+dancing 🤣. You can feel that he is enjoying and he treat the customer like his friend, he keep talking with the customer and with smile. His recommendation is perfect. I ordered a todays special pizza with burrata cheese and a burrata cheese salad. The cheese was fresh and creamy. The tiramisu also great, but I love putting more coffee on it.
The restaurant is a semi open design, which giving the people a chill place.
As a tourist, I still remember the taste and the whole experience when I have pizza in my home country.🤣
