The place which our friend and colleague recommended to visit. But this place became the biggest disappointment in whole Amsterdam. If you are looking for nice atmosphere and good music, with positive vibe - it is not about that place. We have checked list of dj for the one week in advance and bought tickets in advance. After staying in the line - we didn’t pass face control, and the reason was - we were not able to name all dj by the names, also you should be prepared and know their biographies, names of their children, and dogs. The most stupid question which we received - how do we treat each other inside? Sorry, this is the most stupid and dump question which you can give to two nice intelligent girls. I think the real reason were - we didn’t speak dutch and it was understandable from the far that we arrived from another country, and were looked differently from all informal people around. I think the guardian didn’t like my sister from the far distance, as her jacket was to much elegant and too much expensive, and he was just so uncomfortable and unconfined that decided to act like a moron. So all drugged and pumped with alcohol people were able to entered but two simple girls without tattoos and piercings- no!!! The really honest advice - never go to this place, it is not for intelligent and nice people. In Amsterdam - there are bunch of places with good music and better attitude. When I tried to put one star - than program blocked me, so apparently you are not able to express honest opinion about this place and it should be only high mark, this is the way how they...
Read moreAs some of you has mentioned here. I think is the same lady with the curly big hair. We have experienced the most unfair experience in Lofi. She denied our entry just because we wasn't able to articulate the Dj lineup for the night . I was caught by surprise and confused by the question. I have been travelling around the world and clubbing whenever I have a chance in the country itself e.g France even Berlin n etc. no one has ever asked me this question what's the DJ lineup. She then also said there will be a strict house rule and so other people can't go , after that she quickly ask the bouncer to let us out. Thinking back about it , This is not even private party or event in the club . We came here just like every other club we have been to. We bought the tickets, we came at the right time , right attire. Trust me we look super decent . Not sure What's is there that stopping her to let us in. Probably the only reason could be we look nothing like Dutch. She should be educated herself that the world is changing. Club should also be the place where people get to connect. She should open her eyes and welcome everyone with open heart especially to the people from other parts of the world.Tourists spent money n energy to come to the place and spread the words about experience in Amsterdam. All in all, I have nothing against Amsterdam but just particularly to her and her attitude is something should not be happening in this era. I regret that i didn't get a chance to note...
Read moreI had an incredibly disappointing experience at Lofi on my birthday. I bought four tickets for myself and my friends right before arriving, but at the entrance, they demanded an extra payment because we were entering around 2 AM. After paying the additional fee, I simply asked why those tickets were still available on the website if they weren't valid. Instead of a reasonable response, a staff member rudely snapped, saying, "I'm done!" — completely unprofessional and unnecessary. Things escalated when security got involved. Without any valid reason, a security guard aggressively told me I wasn't getting in ( because the staff at the entrance said no) I wanted just to know why to pay extra in the entrance while it’s not mentioned on their website. The security was extremely rude and dismissive, and even after I had a long talk with him and apologized, they refused to let me enter. Despite it being my birthday and me bringing friends, the only thing they offered was a refund for the tickets.
The entire interaction was handled immaturely, and the door staff and security were unprofessional, unfriendly, and overly emotional! Their attitude completely ruined what was supposed to be a special night. Lofi's lack of customer service and respect for paying guests is unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a smooth, stress-free and enjoyable night out. There are far better venues in the city with professional staff who actually know how to...
