Even though the food was fresh and tasty, the service was very disappointing. We placed our order around 7:30pm and only received our starters at 8:30pm. The sushi rolls arrived approximately 30 minutes later. At one point, we genuinely thought they had forgotten our mixed nigiri plate (which costs €27 for 10 pieces), as the wait was so long.

While waiting, we considered ordering two extra rolls, knowing it would likely take ages for them to arrive. When the final dishes finally came out at 9:47pm.

The food itself was delicious, but for the price (8 rolls - around €20) we definitely expected a much higher level of service and efficiency. Unfortunately, the long waits and lack of attention left us unsatisfied – both with the experience and the overall value. You might end up leaving hungry and disappointed, despite the quality...

Waitress got very upset that we found hair in sushi and dared to complain about it. She then became so offensive, that the group of youth I was with started to get scared. When I tried to calm the mood towards the youth in our native language, she came back and lectured us that we should speak Duch. After that she kicked us out. Newer in my life have I witnessed such behaviour in a restaurant. This was the first night of the youths trip to Amsterdam and they were really shaken by the experience. It’s a shame as the sushi in this place is decent. Safe to say that we will...

Amazing new, unassuming Japanese spot!

What a pleasant surprise to be able to taste such great food in this small corner.

Food was really creative (like the salmon and rice tacos), super tasty and delicate, while not pretentious.

Salmon tataki salad was absolutely delicious, takoyaki was well executed, well at par with Dotonburi standards, the gyozas and tempura were gorgeous.

All served with great overflow shōchū and a lovely, welcoming...

This place is such a hidden gem that everyone should try instead of the other “fake sushi”. The passion of chef is really spread in every single dishes and the quality of the fish is really 100/10. Last but not least, the service was really perfect. Marie is such a genuine, positive and professional lady that every owners of restaurant should be jealous of. Thanks again for this experience, I will definitely come back! For me is really more than 5 star.
