[UPDATE]: Had mistakenly added that tax was added on top of total amount; that's not the case.
Went there yesterday with my family (toddler 2yo) after seeing this so many times on reels. And believe me, the reels are too much hyped (you won't even find all the items on a day, as shown in the reels).
The hostess was very polite and sweet. Loved the flavour of their meat balls (or Kofte, as we say it), and was probably the best item in the buffet (€23/person, eat as much as you want). They had plenty of items in vegetarian too, unfortunately, not something I'm keen about. Most of the non-veg items were out quickly though, and it took them so long to refill that I had finished my dinner with vegetarian stuff already.
Didn't like their homemade lemonade, which was €4,50. When paying the bill, the guy charged us €12 for our kid, which was a shock. This was despite the hostess telling us earlier that the kid eats for free. I'm pissed because my kid is a fussy eater and he barely ate anything. A 5.5% additional tax on top of total cost was a turn off too. Given that I also had to pay €7,50/hour for the parking nearby, I don't find this place worth visiting on a weekday, given that I love another place nearby for such items (Manoto...
Read moreThis was our first stop off after a long journey from London to Eindhoven to Amsterdam and it presented an excellent start to our trip. The menu was a mix of Afghani and Middle Eastern cuisine. We ordered a range of food including the mantu and burned aubergine for the starters. For the mains we ordered the qabuli pilau (one of my favorite dishes) and mixed kebab skewers. You get to select two skewers of choice with the latter option. We went with the shami and chicken tikka. I've tried mantu and qabuli pilau in several places but honestly this was one of the best I've had.
The lamb shank fell off the bone and the carrots and nuts had a bite to them. The shank also came with the meat broth which was a good addition. All the food was delicious. The mixed kebab was a little on the dry side, but noticing this the friendly waitress gave us a cacik dish, which complemented the meat extremely well.
I'll be honest - when presented the menu I was a little confused as I saw items from Turkish, Afghani, Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine. However, having ordered the items we did they've managed to make it work.
All the meat was halal and they accept...

I’m really glad I discovered this hidden gem, and I’m sure I’ll be coming back often! Everything was fresh, delicious, and prepared with care. For only around 23€ per person, it’s honestly a great deal considering the variety and quality of the food. You can taste that it’s made with love, not just cooked for the sake of serving.
The people working there are authentic and genuine. At first, they might seem a bit reserved, but once you talk to them, you realize how kind, warm, and helpful they actually are !! it adds to the whole experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good food, fair prices, and that comforting feeling of homemade cooking. I’ll definitely...
