Last night, my friends and I visited this restaurant for the first time since 2020. We really enjoyed the food here before, but this time, I couldn't help but notice a significant decline in the quality of the food.
Starters; The mirzaghasemi, which is supposed to be a delightful blend of real tomatoes and eggs, was prepared with tomato puree on this occasion. To my disappointment, the dish was accompanied by two halves of a thick sliced cucumber that seemed out of place and lacking the usual attention to detail.
Anticipation for the kashke bademjoon quickly turned into disappointment. The once rich and flavorful roasted aubergine dish was now disappointingly tasteless and excessively salty. It felt like the chef's love for cooking was missing.
Mains; While the kabab koobide and jooje managed to meet our expectations, the same couldn't be said for the rice. Lacking the aroma and flavor of saffron, we resorted to adding somagh and salt to give it some character. Although there was a hint of yellow on the rice, it was far from the saffron-infused delight I remembered and was hoping for.
The zerek polo ba morgh was another letdown. Instead of the expected saffron flavor, the dish was dominated by an overpowering taste of cinnamon. While the chicken was well-cooked, the rice lacked the distinctive saffron taste and the sprinkle of zereshk on top seemed undercooked.
Unfortunately, it seemed like the chef was having an off night. The lack of care in the preparation of the dishes was evident, which was disappointing considering my previous positive experiences.
In sharing this review, I hope the restaurant takes this feedback constructively. It's clear that the establishment has the potential to deliver outstanding Persian cuisine, but recent experiences indicate room for improvement. I look forward to a future visit with the hope of enjoying the authentic flavors that once made this restaurant a...

Read moreMost horrifying experience!! My first time writing a review ever, but this was too much!! 1- The food is, beside being VERY BAD, not what you order. Firstly food has been pre-coocked and comes out of the fridge and hence is dry. If that was not enough, the ingredients are by design as cheap as possible. Much of iranian kababs should be marinated and contain some saffron. They have never heard of this lol. Mast-moosir= yoghurt with moosir. They serve it without the moosir and yet charge you for it. Kabab-barg should be made with tenderloin.... this restaurant has no tenderloin. 2- Service could not be worse, you will not be welcomed by the waitress. she likes the restaurant empty. The owner uses the restaurant as his private playground, not caring about who is inside and what happens in the restaurant. He keeps himself busy with his visitors. Apparently he sees this place not so much as a business which should be run well. all in all never again. I did tell the owner this... and he did not seem...
