Sabai Thai Wellness — Local services in Amsterdam

The first time I visited Sabai Wellness was in January, shortly after they opened two months prior. The location is quite central and easily accessible by all means of transport, and even on foot. The interior has a clean, modern aesthetic with individual rooms ensuring privacy and comfort. You are greeted warmly at the front desk and served complementary tea while you wait or after the treatment. I had a wonderful time and left fully satisfied. Emboldened I decided to visit again today, this time for a full 90 minutes. It was fantastic and I am fully convinced that this is presently the best salon in Amsterdam.

Both times my preferences were taken into account and any points of pain or tension incorporated into the treatment. Furthermore, today I was very fortunate to have been treated by their resident anatomy specialist Ying. She instantly identified all the spots that needed attention and systematically worked on all my limbs, shoulders and back, while explaining what each nerve and flexor did, and what to pay attention to in my sports and daily lifestyle. The concluding massage left me feeling like I had been unburdened from months of tension, relaxed and invigorated in equal measure.

After my session, I felt as light as a feather, like a whole new person!

To be honest, I came here with high hopes. A 5.0 rating with all the good reviews seems pretty impressive. The massage started out ok but I had to ask 3 times for the pressure to be increased, which basically resulted in after the third time, the masseuse digging her elbow into my groin area which was extremely painful. I was near tears on the table and was disappointed that I paid 65 euro to have someone lightly rub tiger balm and oil all over me and not relieve the muscle tension. So overall on reflection I think that if something seems too good to be true, it probably is.. posting this from my personal Google account but to prove I am a real client my name is...
