1eHulp is always my first go to coffeeshop upon visiting the Dam, brilliant selection of buds and strains at reasonable prices and it's a local coffeeshop for locals but also visitors makes a difference. As a pub feels to a drinker you go in for a pint or two at some point every day of a holiday 1eHulp is a place to have a few joints with a drink and mellow out.
Staff are helpful and if you're respectful like you would in a local pub you can sit back and toke for a few hours getting a regular drink in comfort.
Comfortable leather sofas add to the atmosphere as the owner's tabby cat sits near you and you watch him go about his day in the place.
Music is great at times as some tracks really set your mood, and a more modern theme with artwork lets you relax.
Plus to add on my second visit of my trip the female staff member asked if I wanted Tetleys tea with a splash of milk, a British staple brand which was brilliant with my bud.
If you have a few days in the Dam, regularly visit 1eHulp for a...
Read moreReally nice good priced coffee shop. Visited this coffee shop recently on our visit to Amsterdam. It is situated a little out of town but worth a visit. It was not the first time ive been to the shop i noticed that they have a new vibrant paint job. The staff are very helpful and friendly speaking alot of languages. They have a good selection of snacks and drinks to buy at reasonable prices. (I got spicy pringles and a cup of earl gray for 4.5 euro). They also have an extensive well priced menu of amsterdams finest smoke. We got a moon rock which was (sorry for the pun) out of this world these are expensive at 40 eu-g but well worth it for a special treat. We also bought 24 karrot 10/10 bud think it was 12_14eu-g but cant really remember. Good vibes. Funky music and comfortable seating. Free WiFi and usb...
Read moreThis used to be one of my favorites places to go when I lived in Amsterdam, but the last two times was terrible. The staff was extremely rude swearing at customers using very bad words and screaming at some silly and honest mistake a costumer made. In addition, the staff was also rude and intimidating people who wanted to pay with pin and courses them to access their bank account and withdrawal cash from the ATM machine they keep in the entrance.
Super uncomfortable experience and embarrassing for my guests that were visting Amsterdam for the first time. Nowadays this is a paranoia-inducing coffeeshop.
Furthermore, the quality of the flower and of the extractions has decayed drastically.
I am not bringing anyone...
