Showw is a complete fine dining experience.

Granting that this is a Michelin starred restaurant the expectations were very high. The delicious first few bites and welcome champagne were enough to raise the expectations even higher, while waiting for the tasting menu. The tasting menu itself maintained the very high standards and the chef did not disappoint for even a single dish. The food was full of flavors and incredibly tasty.

The service team also did a fantastic job. They were incredibly welcoming and felt more like friends rather than waiters, able to maintain an engaging conversation and crack jokes. At first it felt weird when when they open the bathroom doors for you(without even having to tell them that you are going to the bathroom), but by the second or third time you get accustomed to it and it’s a nice extra touch of hospitality. Our sommelier Floris managed to explain the wines to us and keep us curious despite our limited knowledge about them, so big thank you to him.

I cannot begin to say enough good things about Restaurant Showw. This was one of the best meals & experiences I've had, quite possibly the best. The courses were comfortable, yet inventive & the wine pairing with each course was simultaneously complementary & unique. The staff was AMAZING, their team made my husband & I feel so comfortable while continuing to keep us informed of all the wine & food, we were sad to leave at the end of the night after not only fantastic food, but the rapport built up with their team as well!

I ordered the 6-course vegetarian + wine tasting, while my husband ordered the 5-course + wine tasting, which they did a fantastic job balancing the difference of our orders.

Without a doubt, next time I'm in Amsterdam we will be back! Could not recommend this experience...

A new star is in town and if I were you I’d run, not walk, to this incredible restaurant. Every dish (6 course tasting menu) was incredible which so rarely happens. The wine was fantastic as were the front of the house. The place is recently renovated and looks amazing with big tables and comfortable chairs. After dining and many 3 Michelin star restaurants around the world (Netherlands, France, Italy, USA) and even more 2 and 1 star (above as well as Spain, Japan etc) I would say this restaurant is on the top of the list. Bonus is the price quality ratio is also unbeatable. Soon it will be impossible to get reservations here unless you are weeks in advance, so while it’s still a hidden gem id definitely...
