RISTORANTE AMORE PIZZA-PASTA-STEAKHOUSE- — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Do not go here!!! Especially if you're coeliac!!!We chose this place because it said it had gluten-free options so as a gluten intolerant person i was very happy. However when we came in we were a bit sceptical as it was empty but we tried it anyway. We sat down and looked at the menu and when the waiter came to get our order he didn't know of anything on the menu or the drinks. Maybe he was new maybe not but even when we said we wanted something on the menu he still looked questioning as if not knowing they served that or how hed make that. His broken english and dutch did not help either.

We both got a pasta, I a glutenfree and my partner a normal one. The pasta came quickly was nice but it was pretty bland. The portion was also wayy too small, and the drinks came in a half filled glass. At least pour it in smaller glasses if you're gonna serve so little drinks. The drinks were bad too, not drinkable cocktails. The cocktails seemed to lack any soda or alcohol it was weird. The bland pasta was not better because it is literally just pasta and a small handfull of whatever ingredient u order. For 15 euros!!! we got a big plate barely filled with pasta and a few mushrooms. I had the four cheese pasta and the sauce was definitely from a package. Which normally is bad but they use wheat to thicken the sauce, making it NOT glutenfree. So i got served pure pasta with packaged cheese sauce and nothing else. Not a single spice herb or any vegetable. Not worth the price.

The worst part is also because either the cheese sauce is from a package or they cook the pasta is boiled in the same water as it was done so soon the pasta was not glutenfree either way because I did get sick the next day and did not eat anything else that could make me sick of gluten except for at that place. So all in all a bad experience and I am never coming back and suggest no one to go. Especially not...

FOOD POISONING HAS RUINED OUR HOLIDAY DO NOT GO HERE. We so politely sat down, enjoyed our food, I even stayed polite when I reached the middle of my admittedly tasty lasagne and it was ice cold. Knowing the outside was boiling both times the dish came to the table it was CERTAINLY MICROWAVED. if you are serving microwave food, charge microwave prices. Second of all, I have been nursing my boyfriend who ate nothing else all day besides this place back to health as he endlessly throws up. If you take a look at another 1 star review mentioning food poisoning from 9 months ago, you'll see that the staff here find this amusing! 3 laughing face emoji were the 'appropriate' response from this business apparently. Not only will their food make you sick, they are sick and do not care. EVEN WORSE!!! The only customers in the place yet we had to get their attention for any contact. Even for our order to be taken. There werent corners to hide behind, these people really just don't care. You would be better off...

We arrived on New Year’s Day as a party of 7. We waited around 1 hour 20 mins for food to arrive. The steak we ordered medium came very raw. Our friend had a pepperoni pizza with 5 pieces of pepperoni on it, that was the best we had on the table. The Coca Cola was from a big 2 litre bottle and was flat as well as the sprite. The garlic bread was burnt into the bottom of the pan so we could not get it out. We were patient and reasonable however we said we would return the unsatisfactory food as we would not be prepared to pay for it. We paid for the food that was satisfactory as well as the drinks.
