Eat Plaza center — Restaurant in Amsterdam

This was the worst eating experience I’ve ever had in my entire life! The food wasn’t good except for the fries (the salad was truly awful) The biggest problem was the staff basically scamming us when we payed the bill. The cheese in the hamburgers were 1€ extra even though it wasn’t specified whastoever when ordering or even mentioned on the menu. The waitress brought a Burger plate instead of a single Burger and literally said “oh! my bad!” Literally 20 seconds after serving it, making us pay more than 6 extra euros for just a couple of fries and some vegetables. When paying we were told we couldn’t pay separately and had to pay the whole bill altogether, feeling annoyed by all of this we told the staff about their weird business practices, which lead nowhere, even though she said she wouldn’t make us pay for the extra cheese (which of course she didn’t follow through with) She then had the wrong price on the credit card machine: 69,90€ instead of 42,80€! We then said that that wasn’t the price on the bill and she changed it back, but we then realized our card had disappeared! They said they had nothing to do with it until we said with insistence we were mad about the whole situation, she then feigned to recall she actually had the card and took it out from UNDER THE REGISTRY! WHAT...

We thought we would try his place, on arrival the waiter said 'For two?" and escorted us in, and he just pointed to a table, where we then waited well over 20 minutes without any further interaction.

What was especially noticable was, is that three other tables were seated, and given menus straight away, and they arrived after us. However, we were just ignored.

So we then decided to look about reviews of this place, and realised that we needed to leave, and probably that was a very good thing to do.

Poor customer service that was non-existent once we were seated.

Shame you cannot take...

The service is excellent specially Daniella with her vibrant, friendly and caring approach to customer service surpasses any other restaurant service in Amesterdam. The food is so good full of flavour and taste cooked with love. I always get the spicy chicken wings which are so divine. The restaurant atmosphere is very family friendly and welcoming. We visit Eat Plaza every year when we return for our holidays in Amesterdam and we are so welcomed as family to the restaurant. Thank you Daniella.
