Harlem Soul Food — Restaurant in Amsterdam

I went with no expectations, just looking for a quick dinner some place not too expensive. This is more like a bar with a small but good menu of foods. The staff was really friendly and ready. I had the new york stake and a glass of the Spanish red wine. Its hard to describe my surprise when I tasted this meat. It was unbelievably tender cooked just to a perfect medium rare witch made me forget about my phone or the people around me. Delicious. Easily the best steak I've had in Amsterdam so far. Also for the quality of the meat and the other ingredients, presentation and the amount of food you get it is quite cheap. Specially in comparison to other places in the area. Definitely...

Amazing food, nice and cozy environment, good service but no wifi :(( when I asked for it the owner said to me " this is one of these places where people actually enjoy talking to each other u know " xD thought it was pretty funny. Suddenly It became one of my fav places in A'dam. Definitely recommend it for happy hour drinks and an exotic gastronomic experience. U can cross the street and hit the green house Coffee shop before to upgrade the experience. Don't get there too late though, cuz u might not...

It's on the last day or night of a trip that you always stumble upon a really cool place. This was the case with Harlem Soul Food in Amsterdam. We sat at the bar and had a beer with our nachos (pictured). The nachos were tasty throughout and were stacked high.

Even more great was the staff here. The bartender was very attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of during our time here.

The space can be a bit tight, but that's par for the course so not really a detractor if you go in knowing...
