A classic, proper Dutch bar… in the sense that it is tolerant, but not necessarily welcoming to non-Dutch people. While the atmosphere is jolly and eccentric, our experience taking foreign visitors was pretty bad— the barman was quite rude, and evidently didn’t like people speaking in English and other languages around him. only called in because we really didnt know much about the place as we had only just arrived. staff & customers seemd ok seems more like a local boozer than one for the tourists.either very overpriced drinks or ripped off not, pint of lager & vodka & coke 18 euros. place smelt of piss near the back end of the pub. walk further up the road the pubs up there...
