This is a little long but you need to read this if you are considering this place.
We live here and we were at SAIL and we chose this place because we love Indian and the 4.5 score here led us to think we should be ok. Nope.
We booked online and when we arrived they told us unless we booked it yesterday we don’t have a reservation. We showed the guy our phone with the words “here is your confirmed reservation”. His reply: something like ‘yeah we can’t take those reservations”. Huh. Wtaf?
They changed their menu to cater to SAIL. Big mistake. They had 2 set-menu options (vegetarian or meat). I opted for the lamb tiki masala. It came with a kebab “starter”. I asked if I could swap the kebab with the samosa that was on the veg plate. A flat “no”.
Then the food. Omg. So the “starter” (two sad looking pieces of “kebab”) on top of the rice. Not much a “starter” as a couple of pieces of meat thrown on top of your main’s rice.
The lamb was dry and terrible.
Salad: blah. Thrown in to say it’s there.
And tiki masala: I’ve had better from a store bought jar.
In fact, we all agreed it looked and tasted like the ready-made meals you get at Albert Heijn (the Dutch national grocery store chain).
They served the beer with plastic cups. The cups were so cheap that we kept getting long plastic strands in our mouth (that same icky texture you get from hair, but from plastic). And it wasn’t just once. It was several times!
Cutlery? Imagine you are at eating in a university food hall. Now imagine worse. They gave us a wooden knife and wooden spork.
And they charged 25 Euros for this. Absolute robbery. Then to make it even more interesting they tried to charge us for 4 servings (we were 3).
If they reply to this review they will say something about they changed things up because of SAIL. I call BS. They had a choice to make. The could chose to stick to their model and quality (behind their 4.5 Google score) or they can cheapen their image and damage their reputation by serving slop that wouldn’t even pass for edible as street food. Honesty there were plenty of street food vendors and their food was miles better and of better value.

Read moreSorry for leaving a low rating — I normally wouldn’t do so, but I genuinely felt the experience fell short of basic hospitality, and I believe there are areas that could be improved. Because of the Sail 2025 event, the restaurant only offered a set menu with limited options. I completely understand the reasoning, but it would have been very helpful if this was clearly mentioned on the website or during the reservation process, so guests know what to expect (or can choose to come another time). I ordered the vegetable biryani, which unfortunately was quite tasteless. When I asked for chili sauce or something to add flavor, the waiter said they normally have it but not during the event, and didn’t offer any alternatives. Even something as simple as salt and pepper (which I later asked for myself) would have helped. Despite the simplified set menu, we waited around 40 minutes to be served, which was longer than expected. Finally, while I understand the decision to charge non-customers €2 for the restroom during events, it didn’t feel fair that paying customers had to wait more than 10 minutes in line for the bathroom.
I sincerely hope the management can take this feedback constructively, put customer experience first, and make some adjustments for the future. Wishing you the...

Having heard great reviews about this restaurant, I was excited to try their chicken biryani and kebab platter, but my experience was deeply disappointing. First off, the delivery took over an hour and a half, setting a poor tone for the meal.
The kebab platter was underwhelming to say the least. The chicken tikka was merely red without any depth of flavor, and the lahm tikka was tough and undercooked, rendering it inedible. The other items on the platter were equally unsatisfactory and unfortunately ended up being discarded.
The chicken biryani, which I had high hopes for, failed to deliver on any authentic flavors and oddly smelled of raw spices, missing the hallmark aromatic biryani essence. Accompanied by a saalan that was more akin to an aloo sabji, the dish was a letdown.
I wanted to visit the restaurant in person after reading such positive reviews, but after this experience, I've decided against it. It’s rare for me to criticize food establishments harshly, but I feel potential diners should be aware of the possible inconsistency in...
